Cultural Cooking Classes

Open to children ages 5–18 in the Twin Cities.

Cook. Learn. Connect. Celebrate culture.

Status: Available

Participants learn recipes, traditions, history, and the cultural significance behind each dish while building friendships across communities. This new program was created in response to the needs and interests of local families.

While our long-term vision is to help participants become global chefs, we will begin by exploring the rich culinary traditions of Africa, featuring dishes such as Egusi Soup, Eru, Achu, Okro Soup, and Koki Corn.
