The 4TY Family Academy Program empowers parents and families to become confident, informed partners in their children’s education.
- Strengthens Family Engagement: Builds strong connections between families, schools, and the community.
- Supports Immigrant & Newcomer Families: Provides a welcoming space to learn about and navigate the American education system.
- Creates a Safe Community: Brings families together to connect, share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another.
- Provides Guidance & Resources: Helps families understand school expectations, resources, opportunities, and their rights.
- Builds Parent Confidence: Equips parents with the knowledge and tools to advocate for their children’s academic success.
- Encourages Family Leadership: Empowers families to become active voices and confident partners in their children’s educational journey.
- Connects Families to Community: Creates opportunities for dialogue, collaboration, and meaningful partnerships that help families thrive.
- Meets Three Times a Year: Family Academy sessions are held three times each year, providing ongoing opportunities for families to learn, connect, and stay engaged throughout the school year.
